Today, the top single liquidation record on the entire network was broken again, with the "Air Force Commander" liquidation king being liquidated for the second time with $40 million #美联储利率维持不变
On January 29, according to Coinbob's popular address monitoring and Coinglass monitoring, influenced by BTC price briefly dropping below 88,000, its price has fallen approximately 2.8% from today's high. Hyperliquid's "Air Force Commander" (0xd83) whale was repeatedly liquidated, with the largest single liquidation amounting to about $31.64 million, the largest single liquidation on the entire network in the past 24 hours.
Monitoring shows that this address was liquidated successively in the past two hours for 89.7 BTC and 359 BTC long positions, totaling approximately $39.4 million. As a result, its 40x leveraged BTC long positions were completely liquidated, leaving only about $350,000 in the account.
Earlier, from early this morning until now, this address was liquidated for 252 BTC long positions (about $22.37 million), setting the record for the largest single liquidation on the entire network at that time, and this liquidation once again broke that record.
After the liquidation, the address used the remaining approximately $350,000 to open a 25x leveraged ETH short position, with a position size of about $8.9 million, and a liquidation price of $3,003.
This whale was once the largest short position holder in multiple cryptocurrencies including BTC and ETH, with a total holding of nearly $500 million. Recently, it has experienced multiple liquidations, including approximately $199 million on January 22, about $120 million on January 26, and about $83 million on January 28. After turning to a long position, it was again liquidated for about $61 million today.
