#数字资产市场动态 At 3 a.m., a help message came crashing in. A friend from Chengdu spoke urgently: his account was blown—10,000 USDT fully committed with 10x leverage, and he lost all his principal with just a 3% decline. Looking at his trading records, he had a single trade of 9,500 USDT with no stop-loss set.

Many traders are deceived by the concept of "full position." They believe that going all-in means risking everything with maximum firepower. But in reality? Quite the opposite. If you don’t understand how to play full position properly, liquidation happens faster than anything else.

**The problem isn’t leverage, it’s position size proportion**

For example, with a 1,000 USDT account: using 900 USDT to open a 10x long position, a 5% adverse move would wipe out the account. But if you only use 100 USDT to open a 10x position, it takes a 50% move against you to blow up. My friend risked 95% of his principal in one trade, with 10x leverage, and a slight retracement would wipe him out entirely.

**Three ironclad rules I rely on, and I haven’t had a liquidation in half a year**

**First: No single position exceeds 20% of total funds**

With a 10,000 USDT account, never invest more than 2,000 USDT in one trade. If the direction is wrong, a 10% stop-loss caps the loss at 200 USDT, leaving the principal intact and maintaining the capital for a comeback.

**Second: The maximum loss per trade is 3% of total funds**

Using 2,000 USDT at 10x leverage, set a 1.5% stop-loss beforehand. A 300 USDT loss equals exactly 3% of total funds. Even if you lose three times in a row, you won’t be wiped out.

**Third: Do not trade during sideways markets; don’t be greedy when profitable**

Only trade clear trend breakouts. During sideways or choppy markets, stay on the sidelines. Never add to a position once entered—emotions are the easiest way to destroy your account.

**The real purpose of full position: risk buffer, not gambling**

The design of full position trading is to leave room for error amid volatility. But the precondition is crucial—light positions for trial and error, combined with strict risk management.

A friend of mine who used to blow up his account every month, after following these three rules, turned 5,000 USDT into 8,000 USDT in three months. His final words left a deep impression: "I used to think full position was gambling my life, but now I realize, full position is actually about living more steadily."

There are many people in crypto who make money, but those who last long are the true winners. Get the direction right, keep the rhythm right, and everything else is just a matter of time.

9500U is really a game-changer; this guy clearly doesn't take risk control seriously.

Well, that's why I never go all-in. Watching others go all-in makes me shiver.

technically speaking, the no stop-loss part is the real vulnerability here. that 3% rule actually holds up under audit... but ngl, most people will still yolo anyway lol

That guy in Chengdu really outdid himself this time... He went all-in on the 9500U without stopping the loss, this isn't playing with leverage, he's risking his life. I've done the same before, and now I think about it, I break out in a cold sweat.
