On-chain Evening Review: Whales Adjust Positions Showing Defensive Stance, Short Positions Rise
On January 22, according to HyperInsight monitoring, the hot whale movements with new rebalancing from 10:00 to 20:00 are as follows:
Bullish camp: A certain whale closed its BTC and ETH long positions opened this morning at breakeven. The total position size previously was approximately $58.9 million.
“30 times long, repeatedly failing” — the whale liquidated and stopped loss on BTC longs, with a weekly loss of $1.31 million.
Bearish camp: “Strategy opponent” increased DASH short positions, shorting 107,986.36 DASH with 5x leverage. Currently, this is the largest DASH short on Hyperliquid.
“Lightning counter” whale closed ETH long positions, with a profit of $216,800.
