This veteran player, who entered the market as early as 2016, transferred a total of 14,183 ETH to a major exchange within 40 minutes early this morning. Based on the current price, this transaction is valued at $41.93 million.

What’s even more noteworthy is that this is his first ETH deposit of over a million dollars in three years. Looking back, the last significant accumulation activity on this address was between February and November 2022, when his average withdrawal cost was only $1,236.65. Tracing back through transaction records from 2016, this whale has essentially witnessed the entire early history of Ethereum as an OG player.

Such large deposits after long-term dormancy usually attract market participants’ attention—after all, every move by an old whale that has survived until today is worth pondering.

Suddenly pouring over 40 million after three years of no activity—without some confidence, I would have liquidated long ago. OG's instincts never deceive. Wow, this whale's cost is only over 1200? My goodness, they must be making a huge profit. OG players are really tough, holding on for so long and finally making a move, they must be saving a big trick. Suddenly depositing 40 million into the exchange... I can't quite understand this rhythm, are they selling off or what are they doing? The ones who entered in 2016 and are still alive now, their mental resilience is truly impressive, I bow to them. Feels like a new storyline is about to begin again.
