It should be pointed out that Hong Kong's "regulation + commercialization" narrative framework was already tried in Singapore back in 2015 and is still losing money. Liquidity is easy to talk about, but the real issue lies in the lack of a shared value consensus—according to on-chain data analysis, the growth of institutional-level trading has long discredited the outdated hypothesis of "liquidity determines everything." Clearly, if the Hong Kong dollar circle wants to become a global hub, they should first address the fundamental technical issues of capital account convertibility.
