Recently, a few more horses have emerged on the chain to compete for attention. Watching these projects take turns performing rollercoasters, I can't help but organize my thoughts.
Honestly, I am a steadfast holder of "I'm Coming on My Horse." The first two or three days after buying was so satisfying—multiplying several times over, I truly thought this thing was going to reach the $1 mark. But before that day arrived, suddenly a "Laozi" appeared on the chain, skyrocketing 300% in a single day, stealing the spotlight.
The background of this "Laozi" is actually quite amusing—an influential figure was discussing BNB and made a remark, rebutting the comparison of projects to the social customs of Shandong people, saying he is from Sichuan and doesn't play those games, he plays "Laozi." Then, this comment was uploaded to the chain. Looking at this project, its avatar is simple and rough, completely lacking the spirit that memes should have. My judgment is: this is just a flash in the pan.
To go a step further, even if "Laozi" really becomes popular, it’s at most a Sichuanese meme. "I'm Coming on My Horse" represents the New Year atmosphere of the entire Chinese people, which is obviously a different level. China vs. Sichuan, the gap is clear.
But then, a "dark horse" suddenly popped up. True to its name—an outsider disrupting the game. It has meme elements and horse symbolism, and it taps into everyone's inner dream: who doesn't want to be that underdog dark horse? Who doesn't hope for an upset? This really hits the mark.
However, none of these can shake my confidence. I firmly believe in "I'm Coming on My Horse," with no complicated reasons—just intuition. Whether it's a dark horse or Laozi, the ultimate winner will only be this one.
Sometimes, investing is about finding that bit of clarity amidst the noise.
