【Coin World】Ripple's CTO recently proposed an interesting staking plan - the core idea is to create a “governance token”. The design logic of this thing is somewhat unconventional: it intentionally makes it have little value, with a fixed supply, purely for the purpose of voting to balance the power of coin holders.

He specifically mentioned that although all public chains can theoretically be forked, the XRP ledger has its own defense system. The key mechanism is the UNL( unique node list), which requires a high level of cross-authentication between servers, combined with voting by validating nodes on amendments. This design can solidify consensus. In simple terms, it reduces the possibility of network splits by enforcing close collaboration between nodes.
