🔥 Day 8 Hot Topic: XRP ETF Goes Live
REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR) to Launch This Week! XRPR will be the first spot ETF tracking the performance of the world’s third-largest cryptocurrency, XRP, launched by REX-Osprey (also the team behind SSK). According to Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas,
Recently, the Crypto Assets market has seen several noteworthy developments.
First, Tether announced plans to launch a new stablecoin USAT for U.S. users by the end of this year. This stablecoin will be supported by Anchorage Digital Bank and will strictly comply with the latest GENIUS Act regulations. In the context of increasingly stringent regulatory environments in the U.S., USAT aims to be a legitimate, compliant localized option.
Secondly, Bitcoin has shown an upward trend this week, with an increase of about 4%, currently fluctuating around $116,000. The market generally expects the Federal Reserve to announce interest rate cuts at an upcoming meeting, and this expectation is driving up the valuations of risk assets.
With the improvement of the regulatory framework for stablecoins, stablecoins such as USAT and USDT are facing stricter asset reserve and audit transparency requirements. These stablecoins are being viewed by the market as a "digital cash + legal intermediary" new role, which puts certain pressure on traditional banking operations.
It is noteworthy that a Bitcoin address, which has been almost inactive since 2012, suddenly transferred 232.16 BTC (approximately 26.5 million USD) to a new address. The original purchase cost of this Bitcoin was only around 2800 USD, and this action has attracted widespread attention in the market.
Overall, the Crypto Assets market is undergoing multiple transformations in regulation, technology, and investor behavior, which could have a profound impact on the future direction of the market. Investors should closely monitor these developments and carefully assess their investment strategies.
