The total amount of Ethereum staked has exceeded 36 million coins, accounting for 29.15% of the total supply.
On July 20, according to Dune data, the total amount of staked Ether on the Ethereum beacon chain has surpassed 36 million, currently reported at 36.07 million ETH, with staked ETH accounting for 29.15% of the total supply. Since the Shanghai upgrade, there has been a net inflow of 17.91 million ETH, with the staking share of the liquid staking protocol Lido reaching 25.21%. Ethereum transitioned from Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stake (PoS) in September 2022, and the Shanghai upgrade officially launched on April 12, 2023. The Shanghai upgrade introduced the staking withdrawal feature, allowing validators to withdraw their staked ETH and the accumulated staking rewards.
