Kazakhstan plans to establish a national encryption asset reserve.

On June 30, the Governor of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, Timur Suleimenov, stated that Kazakhstan will establish a national encryption asset reserve. The National Bank is conducting in-depth research on the formation and management concepts of the national encryption reserve, including the development of encryption reserves based on the National Bank's affiliated institutions. Kazakhstan plans to follow the experience of sovereign fund management to ensure the transparent accounting and storage of encryption assets, as well as the transparency and security of encryption reserve management. Confiscated encryption assets and the proceeds from national participation in encryption mining will become sources of this reserve.
