The founder of Onekey has been silenced for defending his rights regarding the Resupply incident and received private messages containing racial insults.
On June 28, according to relevant screenshots and the content of the X comment section, Onekey founder Yishi made statements to defend his rights regarding the Resupply incident (including calling for Curve to take some responsibility for Resupply), which drew opposition from many developers. He was muted on the official Resupply Discord for making statements that 'threatened the team', and some even sent Yishi racist insults through private messages (it is currently unclear whether they were from project party personnel). Yishi stated on social media: 'The progress of DeFi today is entirely due to real individuals, who risk their lives and fortunes to fight for their rights. They are not abstract concepts, but real people just like you and me. If you have benefited from these advancements, then it is closely related to you as well.' BlockBeats previously reported that the decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol Resupply experienced a security vulnerability in the wstUSR market, resulting in approximately $9.6 million in losses of encryption assets. This attack was triggered by a price manipulation attack and involved the integration of the protocol with a synthetic stablecoin called cvcrvUSD. Onekey founder Yishi, as one of the three major investors in Resupply, had previously called for Curve to provide a fair solution for every investor to return the funds lost due to the project party's errors.
