Gate News: On March 10th, cross-chain protocol Stargate announced via Twitter that in February, it repurchased a total of 146,430 ZRO tokens, worth approximately $300,000. To date, its total repurchase amount is 1,495,039 ZRO tokens, valued at about $3.14 million. The official statement says that Stargate’s revenue is currently split 50/50 between veSTG stakers and ZRO repurchases. Starting next month, all Stargate revenue will be used 100% for ZRO repurchases. Previously, the LayerZero Foundation officially completed the full acquisition of Stargate (STG), including the protocol, tokens, and treasury. After the acquisition, STG tokens can be exchanged for LayerZero’s native token ZRO at a fixed rate (1 STG = 0.08634 ZRO), with the exchange window remaining open long-term.
