Ark Invest buys 4.5 million dollars of BitMine shares, sells Robinhood shares
Ark Invest of Cathie Wood has recently increased its investment in BitMine Immersion Technologies with a total value of 4.46 million USD through three ETF funds: ARKK, ARKW, and ARKF, respectively purchasing a total of over 101,000 shares. BitMine (BMNR) shares rose 4.16% in trading on Monday, reaching 43.79 USD, and continued to rise an additional 0.71% after trading hours. BitMine is currently the world's largest holder of Ethereum, with approximately 1.78 million ETH, amidst many businesses adding this cryptocurrency to their balance sheets.
At the same time, Ark Invest sold 43,728 shares of Robinhood (HOOD) worth approximately 5.13 million USD. Notably, Robinhood's shares surged 15.8%, closing at 117.28 USD after S&P Global announced that it would add the company to the S&P 500 index, marking an important milestone for this trading platform.
