Day 49
The magnolia flowers in the courtyard downstairs have bloomed.
When I passed by last month, they were still bare branches, like ellipses stretching toward the sky. No one paid attention to them, not even birds wanted to perch.
Two days ago, a little white appeared, like a brush tip dipped in ink, lightly dotting the branches.
Today, they've already opened halfway, the petals thick and fleshy, swaying gently in the wind.
Just two weeks between.
Suddenly remembered when I first entered the circle.
