Golden Finance reported that Shytoshi Kusama, the anonymous chief developer of Shiba Inu, reposted information on the X platform, indicating that the United States Department of Government Efficiency led by Musk (DOGE) is exploring the implementation of a blockchain-based election platform. The system, which may be called “eVote,” involves collaboration with X (formerly Twitter), as well as Cardano, Hyperledger, Hedera, and other blockchain platforms, aiming to create a nationwide electronic voting and identity verification solution. Analysts believe that this aligns with Trump’s long-standing emphasis on ensuring fair elections. Shytoshi Kusama believes that the success of this system depends on the integration of fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) and calls for Trump to appoint a professional blockchain advisor.
