WEMIX will initiate the Brioche hard fork on July 1, and the total supply of WEMIX tokens will be reduced by 60%.

On June 25th, PANews reported that the Korean blockchain gaming platform WEMIX announced on its official website that the Brioche hard fork will be officially launched on July 1st. The hard fork aims to introduce revised minting rules and enhanced WEMIX PLAY, and also integrate blockchain technology into “Legend of YMIR”. The total supply of WEMIX will be limited to 588 million, a 60% reduction from the current maximum supply of 980 million. In addition, with the launch of the Brioche hard fork, the upgraded WEMIX tokenomics will destroy approximately 435 million WEMIX tokens held by the foundation.
