Artist Steve Aoki Sells His SHIB and ETH Tokens Worth $30 Thousand

DJ and public figure in the crypto world, Steve Aoki, has reportedly exited the market by selling some of his digital assets.
Aoki sold around $30 thousand in the form of Shiba Inu and Ethereum, then transferred the proceeds to the Gemini platform.
This move drew attention because Aoki was previously known as one of the major influencers in the NFT and crypto trends.
Although he has divested some crypto assets, Aoki still holds a collection of seven NFTs from Bored Ape Yacht Club.
However, the value of these collections has experienced a significant decline. NFTs purchased for a total of more than $800 thousand in 2021 are now estimated to be worth only about $13,800 each.
This decline reflects the NFT market’s sharp correction compared to its peak a few years ago.
Aoki’s move also illustrates how some early players in the NFT market are beginning to reduce their exposure amid changing trends and market liquidity.
