JUST IN: Bitcoin has over 16 million public keys exposed to quantum attacks
Nearly 7 million BTC (34.58%) have visible public keys, making them vulnerable to quantum attacks.
Bitcoin currently has 16,039,132 public keys exposed on the chain to potential attacks using quantum computers, according to data from an on chain analytics platform developed by the Bitcoin programmer known on X as Wicked.
