Friday's Market Flash - April 10th
* Oil's chilling around $100, but Bitcoin decided to party, ripping past $72,000. Altcoins, however, aren't feeling the love much, with BTC dominance steadily climbing all week and hogging the spotlight.
* Geopoliticals just got spicier: Iran's demanding compensation and control of the Strait of Hormuz, while President Trump isn't exactly thrilled about them charging fees. On a slightly more chill note, Israel has agreed to direct talks with Lebanon.
* In a rare moment of truce, President Putin announced a 32-hour ceasefire for Orthodox Easter, and President Zelensky has agreed to comply.
* Get ready! The US is set to release its March CPI inflation data at 7:30 PM tonight (Vietnam time). Here's what they're looking at:
CPI Y/Y (Forecast: 3.4%, Previous: 2.4%)
Core CPI Y/Y (Forecast: 2.7%, Previous: 2.5%)
Popcorn ready?
Bitcoin Timing - Key dates to keep an eye on this week.
Spot ETF Session - April 9th
* Bitcoin ETFs are looking positive, up $35.5 million. (BlackRock's data? Still on its way).
* Ethereum ETFs also in the green, up $1.6 million. (And yep, still waiting on BlackRock's numbers here too).
* Solana ETFs? Absolutely no action. Crickets.
* The US Treasury is expanding its cybersecurity intelligence program to include crypto companies, putting them on par with traditional banks. Looks like the wild west just got a little more regulated.
* The DOJ and CFTC are stepping in, asking Arizona to drop its prosecution of Kalshi. Their argument? Prediction markets are totally under the CFTC's jurisdiction, thank you very much.
* Dubai just dropped some detailed guidelines for token issuance, specifically categorizing stablecoins and Real World Assets (RWAs) into three distinct groups, each with its own set of rules. Getting specific out there!
* The TRUMP memecoin's snapshot just got extended by an extra four days (until April 14th, 11 PM Vietnam time). And for the truly elite, the top 297 holders are getting an invite to a luncheon on April 25th. Wen steak?
* TON saw a quick 7% pump, then a little cool-down, right after Pavel Durov announced its upgrade is complete and it's now boasting a 10x speed increase. Zoom!
* Binance Wallet just integrated a prediction feature via Predictfun, and they're waiving all transaction fees. Time to test your market clairvoyance for free!
* BitMine is making big moves, uplisting to the main NYSE exchange. They're also expanding their share repurchase program to a cool $4 billion. Talk about a glow-up.
