Want to start mining cryptocurrencies for free but don’t know where to begin? I found this list really useful and decided to share it with you.
So, there are several legit options out there. Awesome Miner is one of the oldest, launched back in 2014 by a Swedish company. It works on Windows and Linux, and it’s very easy to use. Then there’s BetterHash, which is for Windows only, but it has a cool advantage: it automatically picks which coin to mine for you so you can earn more.
Now, if you want to focus only on Bitcoin, StormGain is pretty well-known. People use it a lot because it doesn’t consume much energy, and you can mine even from your phone. It also has a Portuguese interface, which makes things much easier.
There’s also CryptoTab, which is a browser. While you’re browsing, you’re mining. Like in the background, you know? And it even has a referral system that can bring you some extra money.
Kryptex is another Windows app that promises about R$520 per month with a regular PC. ECOS offers more options, but it’s not 100% free—it has a free trial. PEGAPool and MinerGate also make the list—both work on multiple systems and let you mine directly from your phone.
Oh, and there’s also EarnCrypto, which is different. It’s not mining in the traditional sense, but you earn free cryptocurrencies by doing small tasks, like watching ads and answering surveys.
But hey, important: when you’re going to use any tool to mine cryptocurrencies for free, research the source carefully, check the track record, and see what security measures they use. There are a lot of scams out there promising free Bitcoin and then stealing your data. Be smart about it.
