Here's an honest talk about mobile cryptocurrency mining through apps. I’ve done some mining myself and realized that mining programs for phones are not exactly what beginners hope for.
First, about the apps themselves. CryptoTab was one of the first to start this, just install it, launch, and it automatically begins generating hash rate for Bitcoin. Plus, there’s an invitation system—if friends join through your link, your earnings increase. Then there are cloud mining services, where you essentially buy hash power and receive rewards. StormGain allows mining by completing small tasks; the interface is user-friendly, but it requires a restart every 4 hours—convenient for casual users but inconvenient if you’re an active miner. NiceHash is good for managing setups and calculating profitability, but be sure to enable two-factor authentication. Bitdeer offers several cryptocurrencies and different plans; it’s popular among experienced users.
But here’s the catch. On Android, you can run a mining program with decent computing power, but on iPhone, it’s much more difficult due to Apple restrictions. On iPhone, you’re limited to cloud mining—select an app, create an account, link your wallet, choose a plan, and you’re set.
As for which coin is easiest to mine—people are talking about Monero (XMR, currently around $315), Dogecoin (DOGE, $0.09), Vertcoin, and Ravencoin (RVN, $0.01) in 2026. But remember to consider your electricity costs in your region and the coin’s exchange rate.
Honestly, a mining app on a smartphone is more for entertainment. You’ll never mine a whole Bitcoin on your phone, even if you mine 24/7. The average time to mine 1 BTC under these conditions is several months or even years. If you’re serious about mining, you need specialized equipment or cloud services with real power.
In general, mobile mining isn’t a way to get rich quickly. It’s more of a way to earn a small passive income if you’re willing to keep the app running. Before starting, thoroughly research the terms, check reviews, and don’t expect miracles. Everything depends on your expectations and how much time you’re willing to invest.
