#TrumpSignalsPossibleCeasefire
Trump has now floated ceasefire signals at least a dozen times since the Iran war began — yet missiles are still flying.
His envoy, Steve Witkoff, delivered a 15-point action plan to Tehran focused on restricting Iran’s nuclear program and reopening the Strait of Hormuz. Iran rejected it publicly, but behind the scenes, some officials appear more open to discussion.
At the same time, Trump escalated the pressure, warning that Iran’s energy grid could be “obliterated” if a deal isn’t reached soon. The timing is notable — it came just as Houthi rebels entered the conflict and oil prices posted a record monthly surge.
Now, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt are sending top diplomats to Islamabad in an attempt to de-escalate the situation. Whether these talks produce anything meaningful remains uncertain.
The pattern so far is clear: Trump signals that the war is close to ending — it isn’t
The conflict continues — pressure escalates
Then the cycle repeats
Twelve public signals of imminent peace. Zero ceasefire.
Meanwhile, the crypto market is watching oil risk closely. Any genuine de-escalation could quickly restore risk appetite and shift capital back into growth assets.
