If there were indeed frequent encounters with extraterrestrial visitors, shouldn’t we expect a substantially greater number of reliable visual records? The absence of this massive documentation, combined with the deliberately low quality of the videos circulating, suggests inconsistencies in the narrative of alien visitation.

Additionally, Musk points to the physical reality of cosmic obstacles. The distances between stellar systems are so immense that a hypothetical extraterrestrial civilization would have extraordinary difficulties reaching Earth with a living crew. These physical limitations call into question the technical feasibility of such an endeavor.

UFOs, Evidence, and the Statements of Authorities

The credibility of Musk’s skeptical perspective gains reinforcement when we consider testimonies from other influential figures. Edward Snowden, known for his exposure of government documents, admitted in a conversation with Joe Rogan in late 2019 that, despite his privileged access to classified information from the CIA, NSA, and the U.S. military apparatus, he did not locate compelling evidence proving extraterrestrial presence on Earth.

Snowden, however, maintained a less absolute position than Musk, acknowledging that “there is probably something inexplicable” in the files he had access to. This nuance reveals that even those with access to high-level intelligence cannot completely dismiss the possibility of unknown phenomena.

What Scientists and Government Agencies Reveal

Paradoxically, official agencies like the Pentagon have revealed documents and visual records related to encounters of military aviators with unidentified flying objects in recent years. Although these agencies acknowledge that such objects have characteristics unexplained by current knowledge, this does not necessarily validate the extraterrestrial origin hypothesis that enthusiasts advocate.

In turn, the community of astronomers continues to dedicate significant resources to track millions of celestial bodies in search of unequivocal signs of extraterrestrial life. So far, this systematic search has not produced confirmed discoveries. The convergence of these perspectives – Musk’s focus on the lack of direct evidence, authorities recognizing anomalies without confirming alien origin, and scientists without positive detection – creates a scenario where grounded skepticism seems to prevail over extraordinary claims.
