The Hudson Police Department is piloting a “game changing” body camera program from Axon Enterprise Inc. that offers real-time translation services for 50 different languages. Chief Richard DiPersio noted that the technology has significantly improved officers’ ability to communicate with non-English speakers during incidents, eliminating the need for interpreters or phone apps.
