Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that over the past 12 months, ending January 31, 2026, the largest sender accounted for 4.97% of the total USDT transaction volume, while this figure is 23.34% for other stablecoins. According to him, USDT helps people who lack access to traditional financial services due to insufficient funds, and more than 550 million users in developing countries around the world currently rely on it.
