In the smoke-filled Middle East, the Iran-U.S. conflict has entered its fourth day. Missiles cut through the night sky, explosions echoed across Tehran and many Gulf regions. Civilians’ daily lives have been completely disrupted, with countless families spending each night in fear. The highest leader was assassinated, and successive leaders have fallen. Revenge and counter-revenge have toppled the peace of the entire region like dominoes. Oil prices soar, flights are canceled, and stock markets fluctuate. This “epic” strike has everyone around the world holding their breath.
But beyond the gunfire, we must still believe in that faint but resilient light of humanity. May all those caught in the crossfire—whether Iranian mothers shielding their children from airstrikes, American soldiers waiting for the next wave at bases, or ordinary people across Middle Eastern countries—see the dawn of a ceasefire soon. May missiles turn into fireworks, tanks become scrap metal, and hatred be replaced by dialogue. May children not grow up in bomb shelters, elders enjoy the sunshine in peace, and young people no longer worry about life and death tomorrow.
Bless those who are still holding on: safety, health, and reunion. May peace not be a distant dream, but a reality tomorrow. May this conflict end as soon as possible, restoring the skies over the Middle East to clarity, so everyone can look up and see the stars, not the flames.
