Pharos establishes the RealFi Alliance to promote institutional-level RWA on-chain execution standards

Pharos Network, a financial-grade Layer 1 blockchain for RealFi, announced today the formation of the RealFi Alliance. This is a strategic ecosystem initiative aimed at uniting institutional asset issuers, financial infrastructure providers, and on-chain builders. The goal of the alliance is to advance the real-world asset (RWA) market from isolated pilot projects to a standardized, scalable, and practically implementable operational framework. The initial members of the RealFi Alliance include Chainlink, Asseto Finance, Ember, Faroo, LayerZero, R25, Re7 Labs, TopNod, and Centrifuge.

The purpose of the RealFi Alliance is to coordinate assets and capital within a unified framework to address systemic frictions such as liquidity fragmentation, inconsistent infrastructure standards, and regulatory gaps. Rather than viewing RWAs as static tokens, the alliance sees RealFi as a foundational financial infrastructure layer that keeps assets active and composable on-chain, capable of supporting institutional workflows at any time. The first batch of members forms the core foundation of RealFi on Pharos, ensuring that real-world partners are building and deploying on the network as it enters the market.

The alliance operates around four core pillars to ensure long-term adoption and systemic robustness. The initiative’s core focus is asset empowerment—bringing real-world value onto the chain in a secure, composable manner and enhancing ongoing participation. This foundation is further strengthened through strict infrastructure and compliance alignment, leveraging Pharos’s deep parallel execution architecture and built-in compliance modules to meet the highest institutional security standards. To bridge the gap between asset issuance and actual utilization, the alliance prioritizes liquidity and utility design, employing staking, yield mechanisms, and application integrations to create clear functional pathways for assets. The collaboration between Ember and Re7 Labs exemplifies this approach—integrating institutional risk management and vault planning directly into the asset lifecycle. Ultimately, by establishing market transparency and clear benchmarks for risk and return, the alliance aims to build the trust necessary for mature capital allocators to participate at scale within the ecosystem.
