Bitcoin's well-known critic Peter Schiff reiterated his preference for gold over Bitcoin, noting that recent gold and silver prices have hit new highs, while Bitcoin's movement around $90,000 appears stagnant. He believes Bitcoin holders have missed out on the rally of other assets, although he also admits that Bitcoin has not experienced a major crash at present. Bitcoin supporters countered that Bitcoin's fixed supply and past recovery history are enough to prove that, even if its short-term performance lags behind precious metals, long-term patience should be maintained.
