Spotify is expanding its AI-powered playlist creation feature, launching "Prompted Playlists," which is currently available to Premium members in the United States and Canada. This feature allows users to generate personalized playlists using detailed conversational prompts, such as mood, TV shows, or discovering new artists. It analyzes real-time music trends and the user's complete listening history to provide tailored recommendations. While the original AI playlist tool remains available, the new version offers more in-depth control and personalization options. However, it is still in testing and currently only supports prompts in English.
