This wave of River's surge has brought me back to a memory from several years ago—the infamous TRB.
Remember? Two years ago, TRB went from below $10 to a peak of $600, then suddenly plummeted to over $200. A brutal kill from both bulls and bears, leaving chaos everywhere.
Now, River is following the same pattern. From below $4 to nearly $40, and now hovering in the twenties. The bizarre nature of this movement is eerily similar to that of TRB back then—sudden and rapid surges, accompanied by strange fluctuations.
What’s even more heartbreaking is the similarity in market characteristics. Back then, the top-tier whales tightly controlled the market, leaving retail investors with almost no say. Although FDV of River looks high on paper, the actual circulating supply is pitifully small. In reality, the tokens are still firmly held by whales (including the project team). For retail investors, this situation inherently means high risk.
The most critical variable in the next couple of days is the large unlocks expected to happen. Entering now, you really need to think carefully.

theoretically speaking, if we map river's state transitions onto the recursive unlock mechanics we saw with trb... the interoperability vector here is basically non-existent for retail, ngl. it's just concentrated liquidity pooling through znark-adjacent gatekeeping. sketchy fr

It's the same old trick again; retail investors are always the last to know.

Damn, I still vividly remember the tricks of TRB. Are they doing it again? Retail investors are doomed.

Is it the same old story? Haven't you learned enough from the lesson of TRB?
