Chainlink has recently made a big move—acquiring Atlas, an order flow auction protocol developed by FastLane. What is the key point of this deal? After the acquisition, Atlas will exclusively adapt to Chainlink SVR. This SVR might be unfamiliar to many, but in the fight against OEV (Miner Extractable Value), it has already been recognized as an effective solution in the DeFi community. The goal of this collaboration is very clear—to replicate the SVR's capabilities across more ecosystems, enabling more DeFi protocols to increase their revenue through this mechanism. In simple terms, Chainlink is strengthening its position in DeFi infrastructure while creating new tools for protocols in the ecosystem to protect and boost their income.

Chainlink's move is quite aggressive, directly locking Atlas into its own ecosystem. The sense of monopoly is pretty strong.

Chainlink's recent move is still good; the svr defense against OEV is indeed quite effective.

Chainlink's move is quite clever; Atlas+SVR directly seals the OEV vulnerability, effectively safeguarding the entire ecosystem's wallets... But does doing so instead strengthen Chainlink's influence? In the end, DeFi still has to look to it for guidance.

so chainlink buying atlas is basically them saying "we're gonna own the mev layer" lol... statistically speaking this is smart money consolidating infrastructure, but ngl it kinda reminds me of the hubris before UST imploded. everyone thought their mechanism was bulletproof too.

Another small move by Chainlink, this time directly taking over Atlas? OEV definitely needs to be addressed.

Chainlink is playing chess again, this time directly taking over Atlas. Basically, they want to expand the svr protection mechanism so that all DeFi protocols use it, and at the same time, strengthen their own position.
