Imagine a blockchain that is decentralized no matter what—hundreds of thousands of nodes, 49% Byzantine fault tolerance, 100% node verification—if this system is so complex that ordinary developers, or even auditors, cannot understand the code logic, then it essentially still relies on trusting the explanation of some "smart person." Such a system has, in fact, lost the soul of trustlessness.

Simple protocol design is not just an elegance issue; it directly relates to security, verifiability, and genuine autonomy. When the rules are simple enough for every participant to understand and scrutinize, then "decentralization" truly has meaning.

That's right, complexity is the new centralization. I completely agree; flashy designs ultimately still rely on trust.
