HIVE (Nasdaq: HIVE) is entering the Paraguayan market with its new BUZZ Cloud high-performance computing service, targeting academia, finance, and healthcare sectors in South America. The project will be deployed in the Asunción data center starting in the first quarter of 2026, leveraging local telecom partners, renewable hydropower, and the national fiber optic network. This move builds on HIVE's existing 300 MW Bitcoin mining operation in Paraguay, with plans to add an additional 100 MW. The company stated that the recent defense agreement signed between the United States and Paraguay will help enhance regional investment stability.
