here's the thing about loot boxes in web3... we're basically just reinventing gacha mechanics with extra steps and blockchain overhead lol honestly? if it drives engagement, it drives engagement. couldn't care less if it's technically "innovative" or whatever meh, lunacia's been pretty quiet lately ngl. this feels like the move they had to make

The blind box is back. This time, can it be less about cutting leeks... Opening blind boxes is my addiction, but on the other hand, Axie's latest update is quite interesting. It's blind boxes again, and it's random. I feel like my wallet is going to get thinner. Lunacia is still working hard, but this gear system really is addictive. Can this update really retain players, or is it going to become another P2W paradise? The blind box mechanism is basically gambling, but I still want to try my luck.
