【ChainNews】The Flare ecosystem has made new progress. Its FAssets system has officially launched the FXRP token on Hyperliquid, marking the first time XRP is traded in spot form on the platform. Previously, Hyperliquid only offered perpetual contracts for XRP; now with the addition of the spot option, users have an extra trading choice.
Regarding FXRP itself, it is a cross-chain asset anchored 1:1 with XRP and can circulate across different public blockchains, which means users can enjoy greater liquidity and usability. Most interestingly, it will later be possible to directly redeem FXRP to the XRP mainnet with a single click via Flare smart accounts. This design makes the transfer between cross-chain assets and native assets smoother. It seems Flare has put considerable effort into expanding XRP’s use cases.

The flare combo still has some substance, with 1:1 anchoring + one-click redemption. The liquidity aspect has indeed been addressed.

This Flare design is really impressive. Cross-chain spot trading directly on, liquidity is unbeatable.

This move by Flare is pretty good, but can XRP spot liquidity keep up? I'm worried it might just be another hype with no substance.

Finally, there's spot trading available. It was really frustrating to only be able to trade contracts before.

Wait, I need to look into the fund flow of this FXRP. I need to see on-chain evidence before I believe the 1:1 peg claim...

Is this a new trick to harvest the little guys again? Hyperliquid now wants to do everything all over again.

Spot trading is here? This should reduce some of the tragic contract liquidations haha

Wait, can Hyperliquid still spot trade XRP now? I didn't notice before; I've been having too much fun with derivatives.
