After reading about BlueZhanFei's experience, I genuinely felt a chill down my spine.
I used to think he was just witty, funny, and outspoken, but I never imagined that what he encountered in South Africa was the kind of setup where people are tortured to the brink of death. Breaking into his room in the middle of the night, not letting him sleep for four hours, forcing him to transfer money in every way possible, even making him take out online loans... This wasn’t just robbery, it was treating a person like an “ATM,” squeezing them dry over and over.
What shocked me the most was how skilled the perpetrators were with the process, which shows it wasn’t their first time. When you’re in a foreign country, as long as your information is targeted, you don’t even have room to resist.
Seeing BlueZhanFei still alive and kicking now, I honestly think he’s really lucky. You can laugh if you want, but if something like this happened to someone else, there’s no guarantee they’d make it back.
