After seeing what happened to Lan Zhanfei, I really think people in the crypto circle need to be extra cautious when traveling abroad.

Don’t assume that just because you’re not a big influencer, no one is watching you. Once your information is sold, you won’t even have the right to resist in a foreign country.

The safety bottom line for traveling abroad is actually very simple:
1. Don’t show off your wealth
2. Don’t flaunt your riches
3. Don’t get too close with strangers
4. Don’t casually reveal where you’re staying

6. Whenever possible, travel with someone else in less developed areas
7. If you’re not familiar with a place, avoid going out at night if you can

What you consider “being cautious” in your home country is not nearly enough abroad.
You never know who’s watching you, or how much trouble a single sold flight detail can cause.

Traveling abroad should be for relaxation, not putting yourself in harm’s way.
