#美联储重启降息步伐 The Fed's show is getting more and more interesting—rate cut? Yes. But don’t get too happy too soon; Powell is very likely to put on a cold face.

This is what the market often calls a "hawkish rate cut." Sounds contradictory? The logic is actually simple: the Fed is now split into two camps—one is calling for continued easing, while the other wants to hit the brakes. Powell is caught in the middle, and the easiest way out is—cut rates for you this month, then immediately say, "Don’t expect another next time," so as not to offend either side.

Cutting rates is essentially a signal of liquidity easing. For assets like Bitcoin, it’s definitely a long-term positive—more money has to find an outlet. The problem is, the “hawkish” rhetoric will pour cold water on the market, so don’t expect a straight rally in the short term; volatility is the norm. The tap has indeed been turned on, but the flow isn’t as fast as you might think.

What should ordinary investors do? Remember these three points:

First, don’t make rash moves. Price swings before and after the news are normal. If you chase highs and panic sell, you’re likely to get hurt. Sit tight and just watch the show.

Second, focus on the core logic. Rates are coming down—that’s a fact. Money will gradually flow into asset markets, so hold on to your positions and ignore the noise in between.

Third, keep some cash on hand. If “hawkish” remarks cause a dip in the market, that’s actually a chance to build your position in batches. Why panic? If bargains are delivered to your door, why not take them?

At the end of the day, policymakers are putting on their show; we just need to guard our positions. In the long run, liquidity will gradually flow in. In the short term, stay steady and don’t capsize. Be patient—the winds will come sooner or later.

Hawkish rate cuts—this trick is basically trying to have it both ways. I've seen through it, haha.

It's this trick again, interest rate cuts are a smoke bomb, and the hawks turn around and stab you. Wait, is it really just a short-term shock? I feel that the market has to fall for a while. In other words, I like the trick of leaving cash, but the difficulty is when to really smash out of the pit, who can pinpoint this point. Bitcoin will rise in the long run? Well, the premise is that you can withstand these tosses in the middle, and most people can't wait anyway.

The hawkish rate cut approach is basically wanting to give but not really willing to, leaving the market caught in the middle like a punching bag. Short-term volatility is inevitable, so make sure you don't get caught in the crossfire.

This hawkish rate cut approach is just Powell playing mind games—easing on one hand while scaring you on the other. It’s honestly pretty clever.

This hawkish rate cut approach is a real love-hate situation—short-term volatility is brutal, but you can only reap the rewards in the long run.

Here we go again? Hawkish rate cuts are just a heart-stopping game for retail investors. Last time I believed it and got cut in half; this time I absolutely won't make a move, no matter what.

This hawkish rate cut maneuver... to put it bluntly, it's like giving the market a shot of adrenaline, then turning around and giving you the cold shoulder—truly ruthless. Short-term volatility is inevitable, so don't get lured into chasing the highs.

I've seen right through this hawkish rate cut game. Basically, they're pumping liquidity while scaring you at the same time—short-term volatility is a killer.
