Attack on GANA Payment: $3.1M disappears in cross-chain operation
The payment project on BSC suffered a coordinated attack a few hours ago. The attackers moved 1,140 BNB (~$1.04M) to Tornado Cash on BSC, then used a cross-chain bridge to transfer 346.8 ETH (~$1.05M) to Tornado Cash on Ethereum.
What happened:
Why it matters: The use of Tornado Cash indicates an attempt at money laundering. On-chain analysts like ZachXBT are tracking movements, but the privacy of mixers makes it difficult to trace further.
