According to Golden Finance, the Maple Finance community supports a proposal to terminate SYRUP stake and shift to an income-based Token buyback model.
According to the new plan, Maple Finance will stop providing staking rewards for the SYRUP Token and instead enhance the token value through a revenue-driven token buyback mechanism, aiming for long-term stability and linking the token value to the platform's actual business performance.
According to the data from Snapshot, the proposal (MIP-019) was announced on October 28 and has currently received over 91% support from the Maple (SYRUP) community. The final vote will end on October 31.
