On June 24, U.S. President Donald Trump was asked whether the Iran-Israel ceasefire agreement had been violated in an interview before heading to the NATO summit, saying, “I don’t think so.”
Trump said he did not like Israel’s practice of “laying down its arms” immediately after the two sides reached a ceasefire agreement. Trump said both Israel and Iran had violated the ceasefire.
“I’m not happy with Israel, I’m not happy with Iran, but I’m very unhappy with Israel’s actions this morning.” Iran will never be able to rebuild its nuclear program, and Iran’s nuclear capabilities have been eliminated.
