Corporate buyback plans support Bitcoin's long-term bullish outlook. Analysts: current market risks are lower than in the previous bull-bear cycle.

On June 20, despite the hawkish stance of The Federal Reserve (FED), insufficient summer Liquidity, and ongoing turmoil in the Middle East putting pressure on the Bitcoin market, chief analyst Valentin Fournier stated that continued corporate buying behavior keeps the long-term outlook for Bitcoin bullish.

On Thursday, medical device manufacturer Semler Scientific (SMLR) announced plans to significantly increase its holdings of Bitcoin from 4,449 coins to 100,500 coins by 2027. The company will raise funds through convertible bonds and on-market placements. Fournier wrote in the report: “Although market sentiment remains cautious, dominated by short-term geopolitical uncertainties, we believe Semler Scientific’s news is a significant signal of structural demand.”

At the same time, some analysts warn that there are systemic risks in the current market similar to the bull-bear cycle of 2021. However, Peter Chung, the research director of Presto, believes that the current trend of crypto vaults is more robust than the past “boom-bust” cycles. He pointed out that companies are generally avoiding the high-leverage model of using cryptocurrency collateralized loans, which had previously amplified downside risks. In addition, due to a lack of sufficient data, there is currently no phenomenon of “excessive premiums” that would attract aggressive investors.

Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin remained stable overall on Friday. The GMCI 30 index saw a slight rise, with the price of Bitcoin maintaining around 106,000 dollars.
