Golden Finance reports that Slow Mist has issued a security alert stating that Google Chrome (@googlechrome) has released an emergency patch to fix a critical zero-day vulnerability (CVE-2025-5419) that has been found to be actively exploited. The flaw exists in the V8 JavaScript engine, allowing remote attackers to corrupt memory through a crafted HTML page.
