Michael Burry, the celebrity investor known for predicting the 2008 housing crisis and inspiring the film “The Big Short,” has made a major change in the portfolio of his Scion Asset Management fund.

According to the latest report made to the SEC ( by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the fund has divested nearly all of its assets and maintained only its position in a single stock.

Burry, predicting that the shares of Nvidia, one of the pioneers in the field of artificial intelligence, would fall, took a large short )put( option. Similarly, he completely reversed his previously positive stance on Chinese stocks. Scion also took bearish positions on China’s leading tech giants Alibaba )BABA( and Baidu )BIDU(.

The only long position held in Scion’s portfolio is cosmetic giant Estée Lauder )EL(. According to analysts, this move reflects Burry’s cautious approach to the overall market.
