Bitcoin miner Bit Digital paid $53.2 million to acquire a U.S. industrial facility

According to MinerMag, Bitcoin mining company Bit Digital has completed a major acquisition through its Canadian subsidiary, Enovum Data Centers, Gate.io News bot. The company acquired a former Unifi industrial facility in Madison, North Carolina, USA, for $53.2 million, in a transaction that includes plant, land and some equipment.

The acquisition, which is expected to close by May 15, is part of Bit Digital’s transformation strategy to AI high-performance computing (HPC).
