Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, in a heartwarming display of community support and holiday spirit, in collaboration with the LEO Club Cotonou Beryl, successfully organized a special event for underprivileged children at the Claudio Migneco orphanage in Cotonou on December 23, 2023.

The LEO Club Cotonou Beryl, established in 2022 by the LIONS Club Cotonou Emeraude, has been at the forefront of numerous social initiatives, including those focused on education, childhood cancer, hunger, sight, diabetes, and the environment. These endeavors aim to uplift the local community and improve the lives of the most vulnerable members of society.

Recognizing the importance of spreading love and joy during the holiday season, Gate Charity partnered with the LEO Club Cotonou Beryl to organize this meaningful event. The goal was to make orphans feel cherished and to create a memorable Christmas experience for them.

The event featured a heartwarming meal shared with the children from the Claudio Migneco orphanage, followed by the distribution of toys that brought smiles to the faces of 90 children. Gate Charity, also joined forces with Lions Club Cotonou Emeraude, LEO Club Cotonou Beryl, and LEO Club Cotonou Cigogne to make this event a resounding success.

Donations provided for the event included essential tools such and a generous supply of toys for the children. The Claudio Migneco orphanage, the recipient of this benevolent gesture, is known for its dedicated work in providing care and support to orphaned children in Cotonou. Gate Charity, along with its partners, was honored to contribute to this noble cause and bring warmth to the hearts of these deserving children during the festive season.
