$BTC Bitcoin is trading around $75,170 as of April 29, marking a sharp decline from its recent high near $98,200. The drop appears to be driven by a rise in 10-year Treasury yields following stronger-than-expected consumer confidence data, which has weighed on risk assets.
On-chain data, however, remains relatively stable. Exchange reserves have fallen for five consecutive days, with over 18,000 BTC moved into cold storage since Sunday, suggesting reduced immediate selling pressure despite the price drop.
Looking ahead, the next Fed rate decision on May 6 will be a key catalyst. Unless there’s

Large unstaking movements often raise short-term uncertainty because they can be interpreted as potential selling pressure or portfolio restructuring.
However, unstaking alone does not confirm selling activity. These funds may also be used for development, operational costs, or long-term strategic allocation.
What traders should focus on:

Market Impact Analysis
A large-scale unstaking event of approximately $48.9M in ETH introduces an immediate short-term supply perception shock in the market. However, the real impact does not come from the unstaking itself, but from what happens to the released liquidity afterward—whether it is redistributed internally, held in reserve, or actively moved toward selling channels. In the case of Ethereum, historical behavior shows that foundation-related or ecosystem-linked movements are not strictly bearish signals, but rather liquidity mobility events that

Market Impact Analysis
A large-scale ETH unstaking event of this magnitude introduces a short-term supply perception shock, but the real impact depends on whether the released liquidity is redistributed or actively sold into the market.
Historically, Ethereum Foundation-related movements are not purely directional sell signals; they function more as liquidity mobility events. However, in a market already operating with fragmented demand, even neutral redistribution can temporarily pressure spot sentiment.

Is $ETH ‌ finally running out of steam or is this just a trap for the sellers?
The price is hanging around 2,297 right now and it’s looking a bit indecisive. We hit that local top near 2,464 and since then it’s been a series of lower highs.
The support around 2,260 is holding for the moment but the bounces are getting weaker. If we lose this level, I wouldn't be surprised to see a quick slide back toward 2,140 to fill that gap.
Volume is pretty flat so there’s no real conviction from either side yet. I’m just watching the 2,375 resistance to see if we can actually break the trend.
