Golden Finance reported that according to 2miners data, the BTC Cash network Hash Rate soared from 3.6 EH/s to the annual highest value of 9.4 EH/s between July 2 and July 4, and then fell back to the weekly average of 3.3 EH/s as of the time of reporting. The surge is attributed to a new Mining Rig called Phoenix, according to the Bitcoin Cash Podcast. The Mining Rig captured the majority of the new Bitcoin Cash supply. Data shows that this Mining Rig produced about 90% of the Blocks in the past two days, but as of the time of writing, its dominance has dropped to 29%.
