Recently, there are more social mining, points, and identity badge gameplay, basically dividing your free time into task fragments: check-in, repost, comment, invite people... completing them gives you a "potentially useful" candy.


Now I look at badges and first ask myself: can this be converted into protocol income, or at least influence fee rates / buybacks / voting switches?
If not, it's probably just emotional value.

What's even funnier is that when I see a large transfer on-chain, or a hot/cold wallet move on an exchange, someone starts to imagine "smart money entering the market," and then casually also joins the points task frenzy...
I also look at data, but data ≠ oracle.
Anyway, my current principle is very simple: points can be faked, but don’t empty your life for it;
If you get too caught up, just make a table to calculate your time investment cost, and after doing the math, you'll usually calm down.
