Overdue amounts below 10,000 yuan settled today; credit report will no longer display the overdue.

To address the public’s “credit predicament,” support individuals who have damaged credit but are actively repaying, reshape their credit profiles, and help the economy continue to rebound and improve, the People’s Bank of China issued a “one-time credit repair policy” in December 2025. Today (March 31), this policy is about to expire. For eligible individuals (delinquencies arising between 2020 and 2025, with each single amount ≤ 10k yuan), if they repay in full today, delinquency records in the credit reporting system will not be displayed, and any delinquent and unpaid debts will lose this opportunity for credit repair. Earlier, multiple banks have issued frequent alerts to remind borrowers to repay as soon as possible. (CCTV Finance)
